SEEKAE & RICE IS NICE

Seekae & Rice Is Nice

RICE IS NICE are super brilliantly happy to have Sydney Electronic band Seekae join the family!

We are also very excited to announce Seekae are the winners of the Australian Council for the Arts new “Soundclash” grant, a grant tailored to help electronic artists with recording and touring.

Since independently releasing their debut album “The sound of trees falling on people” in December 08’ Seekae instantly impressed their audiences resulting in a whirl of much deserved all star reviews and radio love which included FBI album of the week.

Since taking a small break after the release Seekae have been busy remixing a bunch of their best buddies music, including Ghoul, Megastick Fanfare, Parades and Bearhug and have decided to release a special limited edition EP “Seekae Remix EP” with the said work.

The EP will be launched Aug 6th at Oxford Arts Factory, supports by the artists remixed on the EP: Ghoul, Megastick Fanfare, Parades and Bearhug!!
Its set to be a huge night! And as Seekae missed all the FBI fundraisers this year, they have decided that all launch sales (door and ep) will be donated to FBI! HOWZAT!

Finally for now, after playing alongside Pivot and then dazzling audiences at Playground Weekender last year, Seekae will hit the road with Decoder Ring for a string of dates around Oz during August and September.
