RICE IS NICE RECORDS are very happy to say they have a long loving future planned for themselves and MINIATURE SUBMARINES!

MINIATURE SUBMARINES is a vehicle for the solo recordings of Mark Nelson, otherwise known for his work in Melbourne band The Stabs. Stylistically the Submarines music couldn’t be further removed from The Stabs sound – this is unashamedly an exercise in pop.

Mark is joined by Monika Fikerle (Love of Diagrams, Baseball) who has been good enough to nail the hell out of the drum parts on the recorded tracks.

The first release will be a limited 7” inch OUT ON DECEMBER 10 2009!

Live Miniature Submarines consists of Mark being joined on stage by Greg Kerslake, Alex Jarvis and Duncan Blachford.
