We recently teamed up with the gems at Little Hero (Fashion PR company in Sydney) to bring their clients and friends an unforgettable christmas card / gift. Together we made Summer Sounds, Summer Memories and delivered a 21 track mix of Rice Is Nice artist’s finest tunes to sound track summertime. Here are some snaps of said disc that went out to 600 lucky people during december 2011. Art direction and design by Rice Is Nice’s Ben Shackleton and Little Hero’s Jaye Carcary.

Richard In Your Mind are returning to Melbourne as a special Christmas treat. The band are heading down this December and this time, the all encompassing Alyx (from Sydney band Kyu) will be joining them on stage as a new member of Richard In Your Mind.

Richard In Your Mind start their journey at The Workers Club on Wednesday 21st Dec, where Alyx will also be performing a solo set. More info and tickets HERE.

Seekae NY / LA Shows

Jo and I headed to the land of plenty, the big apple, hollywood, crown heights, yadda yadda – for some CMJ and Seekae action. We had a good time. Also pretty sure we saw jamiroquai in a big stupid hat.
We did however meet some bloomin gems once again. What a productive time we had. And then some more gems came and met us there, Seekae.

Seekae played a couple of shows in NYC. One was at The Standard Hotel’s Le Bain. Have you seen that place? Well you should. The guys played ontop of a pool. And when we were not watching them in the packed crowd we were up on the roof top drinking $100 whiskys. A successful show with Seekae supporting Twin Shadow and 48 whisky’s cleared my cold right up.

Seekae then hit the NY airwaves on Virgin Mobile Radio Live. Abbey and Mike were gems and you can actually hear the interview here – WAITING FOR LINK

We were also invited to Break Through Radio for a live session and interview.

When then caught a big plane to LA. People dont LOVE the idea of personal space I have discovered. But that is another issue all together OR possibly just my issue. Anyway, LA i loves ya. Its true. I love you LA.

After watching ghost documentaries (cause Jo just loves them), eating mexican and basking in the Cali sun, we head to The Airliner for Seekaes show at Low End Theory.

It was packed and the people there ruled. It was an honor to play there, thank you Daddy Kev.

We then had to leave and Jo was sad

Seekae now head to the UK for their tour.

+Dome comes out in the US TODAY (NOV 1) and TOMORROW in the UK (NOV 2) through Rice Is Nice and Popfrenzy. The people we have been working with are professional legends. Thank you so much Shilo, Jess at Co Sign, Lisa at In House, Olli, Red Eye and State 51.
